Patagonia beer commercial at 14,000 ft

Visionary aerials loves working in extreme conditions. Last season we teamed up with MentaLounge to create two mountain themed commericals for Anheiser-Busch’s Patagonia beer. Shooting up above Colorado’s Rocky Mountain treeline requires a lot planning and some luck. Weather can be an issue so each day we started at 230am as to make the summit before the typical thunderstorms begin in the afternoon. Moving slowly and working with a full camera department to coordinate getting aerial images along with the handheld camera team made for a long but rewarding day of production.

For these spots Visionary Aerials utilized the Inspire 2 with X7 camera. Our kit includes the full DL lens system as well as 6 sets of batteries and two controllers for enhanced operations. Visionary Aerials worked with pilot Brent Murray and Anders Carlson was camera operator.
